'Mach schau!' (Make a show of it!)

This is horizontally reversed. Back then (2001?) when I had to change the PC wallpaper every two days. The Photoshop skill is very amateur. But it was long ago and I don't want to change anything. In fact, that skill doesn't improved much! Many said their performances in Hamburg were very raw and best. They played 'What'd I Say' for twenty minutes. How about that, Genesis and Yes?It's like a fairytale, they came back to Liverpool as a new band. Sharp and rocks their way to the top. They, like Lennon said, really grew up in that Hamburg.

Englishboys in Hamburg
Stuart Sutcliffe
The man who may created the Beatles' name with John Lennon.Imagine he lived and went to America with the band in 1964....I don't know who will have name like Cute Beatle or Queit One then! By the way, he may be the Gay One, sorry.
" I had been pretty nasty to Stu on the last day we were with him. We were leaving Hamburg, and he was staying behind with Astrid. I caught his eye on stage, as he was playing with us for the last time. He was crying. It was one of those feelings, when you're suddenly very close to someone"
- Paul McCartney
Beatles Top Poll!
L-R John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Pete Best. They're the most popular band in Liverpool by then.
As it appeared on the original historic Mersey Beat newspaper, issued on January 4th, 1962. This issue announced the results of its popularity poll in bold headlines on the front page: Beatles Top Poll! Just three days earlier the Beatles had auditioned for Decca Records, and after hearing news of the poll John, Paul, George, and Pete were elated. They knew that this public endorsement could not be ignored by co-producer Mike Smith at Decca and they would soon sign their names to a contract.

You're fired!
Beatles with Pete Best. A few months before he was sacked. To this day he still don't know the exact reason why. He said recently that the only man alive know this is Paul McCartney. Who may have forgotten it long ago!-that's me thinkin'.
Why was Pete Best fired?
There are some theories....
1.George Martin thought he wasn't a good drummer. He thought they must have some session drummer in for the records but he never told them to fire Pete.
2.Paul,John and George jealous of Pete's good-looking.
3.They didn't get together well socially. Ringo is more better.
4.His curly hair couldn't created in a mop-top style.
5.Ringo is a better drummer.
Which one do you believe?
The Fifth Beatle Card
There are so many fifth Beatles but Stu Sutcliffe is probably well deserved this name best. He used to sing Elvis' Love Me Tender on stage and the girls melt. For me, he's the coolest Beatle.
Yesterday I read the George Best' autobiography at British Council. There's a photo of him which he described..."no wonder why they called me a fifth Beatle..."--Yes, he was somewhere between Harrison and McCartney.. But he was in Manchester United!
